HOW TO INVERTERS

Our ' 6 step' Solar Service

1. Solar feasibility and cost

Solar feasibility and cost

The first step is to discuss what your options are and what type of solar system may suit.

  • Electrical usage in kWh for at least 12 months of invoices
  • A description of any roof shading, roofing material, condition and age
  • A description of your current electrical service provider
  • Your desire to be 100% energy independent or what fraction thereof

Our technician's will provide you with a preliminary price estimate for a solar power system customized to your energy needs.

2. Site evaluation

Site evaluation

Many of the characteristics of successful solar installations are site and user specific. We perform a thorough site survey of your prospective system location with the proper instrumentation to assess all required parameters.

  • site elevation & latitude, average available hours of sunlight
  • availability of suitable mounting locations, tilt angle & direction of mounting location
  • type of roof or mounting surface, roof live load calculations
  • seasonal shading using the latest high-tech instruments
  • weather patterns & average temperaturesfor your region
  • energy system current & projected loads
  • length & location of wire runs
  • component placement
  • local zoning,··electrical codes and paperwork

3. Proposal to you

Proposal written for your system

Once the site and usage data is evaluated, we will work together to determine the best system for your current and potential future needs

You recieve written:

  • Results of our site analysis
  • Recommended installation methods and best practice
  • Proposed system to meet your needs and your location
  • A price quotation that includes all equipment, building permit fees, installation, building inspections and amount of state and federal incentives available.
  • A financial analysis of return on investment for your system, including any incentives available to you.

4. Procurement & Contract

Procurement & Contract

Once the proposal (quote) has been accepted and the deposit paid, the work will commence based on the timing agreed with the client.

  • Sign our installation contract and provide us with a 50% deposit.
  • Our solar experts will provide help to submit all council documents for building consent and organise the appropriate paperwork for the power retailer and lines company in your area.
