Pete's first involvement with alternative power was at Vanda Station (Antarctica) when he was working for the DSIR as a technician in 1975. The station had a small wind turbine and backup alternators to run a 230 inverter which supplied power for the meteorology equipment. Pete is a qualified electrician with over 35 years practical experience in the solar market. His installations are not only very neat but powerfull and they work practically. Jason's passion comes from living and installing renewable energy systems for the last 11 years. He has been activly involved with the first generation of evacuated tube solar hot water systems in New Zealand, Apricus back in 2001, pioneering some on the installation techniques we have today. Jason is also qualified as a level 4 IRRANZ Industrial rope technician |
